We offer our glass products in three types of glass all of which are pharmaceutical quality.
A general purpose glass suitable for most applications provided that it will not be subjected to thermal shock i.e. heated and rapidly cooled.
Where thermal shock is anticipated, this type of glass offers the ultimate in resistance. Commonly referred to as Pyrex ® this type of glass is widely used in kitchenware. These qualities do however come at a price and borosilicate glass is somewhat more expensive than soda glass.
This glass type offers a compromise between soda and borosilicate both in terms of price and performance. It is also commonly mistakenly referred to as borosilicate. For laboratory uses, neutral glass is now probably the most commonly specified material.
SODA and NEUTRAL glass types are also available in amber as well as clear.
Our machines can process glass diameters from 4mm to 80mm and lengths from 20mm to 1000mm. Round and flat bases, with or without rim.

Help is at hand if you require tubular glass containers from a source that you can trust. At Regina, we have many years of experience behind us when it comes to designing and manufacturing high-quality tubular glass containers. These products are used by a wide range of clients, including companies and organisations working in science and laboratory conditions, retailers and those that require specimen storage solutions. We are also able to come to your assistance if you are in need of closures which we can produce in our own plastic moulding production facilities.
Tubular glass containers offer a range of valuable benefits. As glass is both nonporous and impermeable, the glass packaging and products do not interact. This means the flavour of food and beverages can be protected. In fact, glass has an almost zero rate of chemical interactions making it particularly suitable for scientific applications. Tooling is not required for simple tubular glass products like test tubes and specimen containers. You can get in touch with us at any point if you do have any queries about our tubular glass containers. We are experts in our field and can discuss your needs in detail to help you come to the most informed decisions.
Our glass products are offered in three different types of pharmaceutical quality glass. These include soda, borosilicate and neutral glass types. Our machines are capable of producing glass diameters from 4mm to 80mm, with lengths from 20mm to 500mm also being available. We can provide containers with round and flat bases, with or without rims. If you need us to produce tubular glass containers at short notice, this is no problem. Standard and non-standard sizes are available, with swift turnarounds.
Around four-fifths of recovered glass is made to create new glass products. It is completely recyclable and can be recycled time and time again without quality or purity being affected. Global warming and Legislation is adding to the benefits of glass over plastics.
As of 2019, we have been in business for seventy years and are based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. Our specialities include plastic injection moulding and pharmaceutical glass manufacture. The Regina catalogue continues to expand year after year, and our business is synonymous with products including test tubes, specimen containers and vials.
